Dishwasher Soap

A washing soda and citric acid powder that cuts grease and mineral spots in the dishwasher, without the synthetic fragrances of commercial pods.

What you'll need

• 1 cup washing soda
• 1/2 cup citric acid
• 1/2 cup coarse salt

Steps

1. Combine all ingredients in a sealed jar and shake to mix.
2. Use 1–2 tablespoons per load in the detergent compartment.
3. Add a splash of white vinegar to the rinse-aid compartment for extra shine.
