Gentle Silver Polish
A soft baking soda paste for light tarnish on everyday silver pieces — gentler than commercial dips, and safer for delicate engraving.
What you'll need
- 3 tbsp baking soda
- 1 tbsp water
- A soft cloth
Steps
- Mix baking soda and water into a smooth paste.
- Rub gently onto the silver with the cloth, following the grain of any pattern.
- Rinse thoroughly and buff dry.
Tip: Skip this on pieces with black oxidized detailing meant to stay dark — it will lift that intentional patina too.
