Hayfever Relief
A saline nasal rinse flushes pollen and irritants from nasal passages during high-allergy days — quick relief with no medication needed.
What you'll need
- 2 cups distilled or previously boiled water, cooled to lukewarm
- 1/2 tsp non-iodized salt
- A neti pot or nasal rinse bottle
Steps
- Dissolve salt in the lukewarm water.
- Fill the neti pot and tilt your head over a sink.
- Pour through one nostril, letting it drain from the other, then switch sides.
Tip: Always use distilled, sterile, or previously boiled water for nasal rinses — tap water can carry organisms unsafe for nasal passages.
