A baking soda soak lifts stains and odors from plastic and melamine dishware — the kind that lingers in tomato-sauce containers no matter how many times you wash them.
What you'll need
- 1/4 cup baking soda
- Warm water, enough to submerge
Steps
- Dissolve baking soda in warm water in a basin or sink.
- Submerge the dishware and let soak 30 minutes.
- Wash as usual and rinse.
