A dried cornstarch paste for flat silver surfaces — spread it on, let it fully dry, then brush it away for a gentle, low-effort shine.
What you'll need
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- Water, enough to form a thin paste
- A soft brush
Steps
- Mix cornstarch and water into a thin, spreadable paste.
- Coat the silver surface and let it dry completely.
- Brush off the dried paste and buff with a soft cloth.
Tip: Best on flat trays and platters — the drying step is trickier on curved or detailed pieces.
